A quick recap of the last week’s news, announcements, events or cool links, featuring La Cantine in Paris, a workshop day on mobile app design, and more.

Legal Camp

Starting with an interesting event happening on October 13th 2012 (9am start) at the Parisian co-working space of @lacantine, with a meeting dedicated to all legal-related tools (incl. open source) available for the deployment of your creative projects.
France-based design community, this event is for you.

AppDays Paris

Another cool event happening in Paris, this time on November 9th 2012 is @AppDaysFr, a full-day conference covering the wide subject of mobile app design. 200 seats for grab for an early-bird fee of 99 euros. More than decent.

Hydra Multi-Device Web Proxy

Tweeted by @brad_frost during the week, this site is really useful for testing how real devices adapt content server side. I advise you to take a look and test your websites.

Search twitter by subject and by username

This week, @bdconf took place in Dallas, Texas. Another opportunity for us simple folks to go listen to the web design community big guns, such as Chris Coyier, Luke Wroblewski, Karen McGrane and more. If you cant make those events like me, a great way to get a flavour of it is follow people like Luke of Brad and get the best bits out of their twitter status.

null

Simply use the twitter search form for that by typing your hashtag (bdconf) and add +from: followed by the twitter user feed you want to isolate.
I don’t think it will return ancient tweets, but it certainly works for recent status updates.
